A place of friendly discussion about whatever God has put on my heart. Christian thoughts, politics, ramblings, and intelligent ideas (from other people). This is about the good things in life . . . mostly. Even strong disagreements are fine . . . mostly. Know that Jesus Loves you no matter what you've ever done . . . ALWAYS. Tsunami blog

This blog is to promote the Tsunami tragedy blog to know how to help after so many people perished and are now stranded. Please help if you can and pray for these thousands of people. It breaks my heart to see such disasters.

It is strange though that people were in hotels, (which I assume have TV's, radios, telephones, etc. since some parts of video were in tourist areas), but they all looked "flatfooted" in the videos I've seen and unaware of what was going to happen. I did some research and they have a warning system and the earthquake was hundreds of miles away though I know it was traveling very fast. Why were they at the hotels and not running for their lives knowing from history what happens after earthquakes hit??

After the tsunami of '93, I believe they had some sort of warning system going. How costly are large bullhorns like I hear by my house testing for tornadoes most Saturday mornings? Surely this will be talked about more once people in need are helped. I'm not a reactionary person that thinks that things should always be changed after something bad happens, but this is strange...

If you're wondering, how can a loving God allow this to happen? Good question, I love web sites for they do the work for you, not to mention I'm not a bible scholar.

One of the links on this great site is "10 Reasons why God allows Suffering." Maybe it will help to make sense of it all, though it's hard sometimes. But I have Faith in the answers this web site gives for they come from the Bible.
